CIRCUS

Five mysterious figures arrive to awaken an abandoned circus. The opening for MIXER’s CircUs builds its world through weathered clockwork, a music-box ballerina and an antlered presence emerging from the dark. Within this aged, theatrical setting, the band’s instruments acquire elemental force: guitar playing sends out branches of lightning, while flames rise around the drums. Deep blue shadows give way to warm, volatile light, turning the quiet anticipation of an empty circus into a gathering of strange characters and charged performances.
