DREAMING OUT LOUD

A glowing butterfly gives the pursuit of a dream a visible form in Patrick Brasca’s concert opening. Following its light, the film moves through a violet forest, luminous plants and a flower field beneath a pink sky, expanding into the scale of a planet suspended in space. The soft palette holds these shifting environments together while floating movement loosens the rules of the everyday world. A bright rectangular doorway becomes the journey’s threshold, gathering the film’s wandering, discovery and sense of possibility into an image of arrival.
